BRCGS Allergen Guide (German)

The allergen management guideline for BRCGS was developed based on extensive experience with allergen management and the BRC. It applies to the following standards:

  • BRCGS Food Issue 9
  • BRCGS Agent and Brokers Issue 3
  • BRCGS Packaging Materials Issue 6
  • BRCGS Storage and Distribution Issue 4
  • BRCGS Retail Issue 1

This guide explains the international legal regulations for allergen declarations for packaged and unpackaged goods. It describes the potential risks associated with developing, implementing, and managing an allergen management system along the value chain and within your own company. Each chapter lists all possible risks in tabular form, including a risk assessment for your HACCP (Health, Safety, and Environment) system. Naturally, an evaluation of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods is also included.
